accidentally a kindof Q1 sticker design post, didn't really intend to time it that way. presenting to my Shareholders (Blog Subscribers):
raven's kopii shop (print)
january's sticker, featuring raven's latest business venture! "gyemgii" translates to "hot?", the "ligi" in the bottom left is "or" and "gwatgii" is "cold?" - so in full, "hot or cold?". raven is of course holding a hot latte mug in his beak and an iced coffee in his talons. i really like making art that's like, suggestive of another analog medium (a metal poster, in this case). love how the vignettes came out as well
gyiloomdza suulk'nsgn! (print)
february's design, translates to "don't despair/don't hesitate!". inspired very strongly by fromsoft-type boss designs, especially sif from dark souls. the original soulslikes are some of my favourite video games ever, and i'm always struck by how their most difficult boss encounters can feel so artistic, downright graceful sometimes, despite the unsettling subject matter. it's like the enemy is putting on a show for you, not to impress but to humble you, and the feeling i get watching a boss like that for the first time of equal awe and fear is something i really cherish. it speaks to miyazaki's artistic approach. and of course canines with swords are peak

and finally, this was march's sticker - i'm trying to branch out with the animals i draw, and thought seals made for a good formline subject! them so shapes..
